R230.00 (excl VAT)

Chai latte is a mix of water, milk, and black tea with chai spices. These are typically cinnamon, pepper (black), cardamom, cloves,  ginger and star anise.

This blend of tea and spices is then mixed with a creamy milk flavour inside your coffee machine or blender to give an exceptionally refreshing drink. It is why this drink remains a firm favourite among our clients!

Our Chai offers spicy notes that leave a nutmeg aftertaste. So enjoy a perfectly spiced tea taste in a rich creamy milk drink.

Description

Chai Tea Latte powder is a composite, and complex product that blends a number of spices into a pleasant tasting traditional chai tea.

Chai tea traditionally blends tea with the exotic spices cinnamon, cloves, ginger, star anise, and pepper. It is a popular tea choice in India. Its origin is believed to date back many years to when an Indian king asked traditional medicinal practitioners to provide a healing blend of spices. They duly delived a tea with many spices that today, are touted as having healing properties. Ginger and cinnamon, for example, are both known to reduce inflammation which is the basis for many illnesses.

It complements our other latte powders, Caramel Latte and White Chocolate. These offerings can be used in both instant coffee machines and the bean to cup, or espresso, coffee machines.

We find that office coffee clients like to vary their drink choices and to add a latte in place of a hot chocolate for example, is a great way of providing variability.
